This workshop will help you manage various types of researcher profile systems, including Google Scholar, Scopus Author Profiles and ORCID. You will also learn the best information to share on a department or personal webpage to showcase your publication and citations. Focusing on free-to-use tools, these techniques are perfect for the early career researcher and useful for all researchers at any point in their career.
Please bring a laptop to the in-person session to follow along and practice.
If you require any accessibility accommodations to attend or participate in this event, please let us know by emailing trisha.adamus@wisc.edu with the subject “Managing Your Online Scholarly Presence with Citations and Metrics Accommodations.” Requests for sign-language interpreters, real-time captioning, Braille or electronic documents should be made at least two weeks before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date but cannot guarantee they will be met.
