Description:
This module provides an overview of the team development process, and interactive discussions around the importance of leadership in developing successful teams. Leadership is not limited to supervisors; everyone can exhibit leadership to influence positive change in their team. Using Tuckman’s five stages of team development, this session focuses on the specific actions that can be taken throughout the evolution of a team.

As a result of this module, you will be able to:
Define the stages of team development
Reflect on the dynamics of your own team
Determine steps for influencing your own team to become high performing
Apply strategies for creating team climate and building team cohesion
