This workshop for beginners will introduce participants to text analysis for the digital humanities and the tools, Digital Scholar Lab (Gale) and Voyant. Participants will explore getting access to datasets, learn about copyright issues in text mining, and gain familiarity with these tools and key concepts. The workshop will include lecture/demonstration and hands-on activities.
