Electricity is present in every building and laboratory on campus, presenting unique risks in relation to other hazards that may be present. The invisible nature of electrical current makes locating and assessing hazards difficult, but with guidance and implementation of good work practices, risk of injury and/or damage from electricity can be greatly reduced.
