Research doesn’t happen in a vacuum: collaboration on computational projects is becoming more and more common. Version control can be especially helpful in these collaborative situations. This workshop will cover how to use git (from RStudio) and GitHub to create branches of your projects locally, push these branches to Github, and create pull requests to shared repositories. A working knowledge of R, R studio, git, and GitHub would be helpful for you to get the most out of this session.
