Collecting text data can be challenging, from interpreting free text fields, fixing misspellings, renaming categories, and separating columns that have multiple data fields in them. This workshop will show you how to use the forcats and stringr packages to deal with text data in R. A basic working knowledge of R and R studio, dplyr, and ggplot2 would be helpful for you to get the most out of this session.
