Thrive@UW-Madison: Building and Managing Work Relationships  (back)
 
Description:
In this session, participants will examine the characteristics and benefits of collaborative work relationships as well as potential challenges to the development of positive relationships. Individuals will explore strategies and tools to increase their own skills and abilities to develop productive work relationships and increase collaboration.

After completing this course, participants will:

• Understand the critical elements of positive relationships and potential challenges that may present as barrier to the development of relationships

• Analyze and evaluate workplace situations to transform challenges into positive opportunities for relationship building

• Be able to identify the five aspects of emotional intelligence and analyze their own strengths and areas for growth
